These rules should be taken with a grain of salt. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the LAN organizers is final, and no responsibility will be taken into. The organizers reserve the right to amend, change, add or delete any rules as needed, at their discretion.

In order to take part in BAYLAN, every single LAN Attendee must respect and abide by the following rules. These rules are set in place to protect the enjoyment of the LAN for each and every BAYLAN Attendee. All decisions made by BAYLAN crew are final and no discussion will be entered into. By attending a BAYLAN Event you agree to be bound by the following rules.

- Usage of illicit drugs or alcohol at BAYLAN is prohibited. Any attendee found to be in possession of such substances and/or related items will be immediately escorted off of the premises, and will forfeit their entry fee. Participants who are intoxicated or under the influence of illicit drugs will be prohibited entry.

- Smoking inside the BAYLAN venue is prohibited. BAYLAN is a smoke free event.

- Possession or usage of any weapon is prohibited at BAYLAN events. The definition of a weapon is strictly determined by BAYLAN staff and includes but is not limited to firearms, knives, batons or any object used in a threatening manner. Possession or usage of such a weapon will result in immediate termination of your entry fee and you will be escorted from the premises.

- Physical and/or verbal abuse will not be tolerated at BAYLAN. Should a BAYLAN staff member judge, a BAYLAN participant to be taking part in physical and/or verbal abuse, said participant will warned, and then asked to leave.

- Participants accept full responsibility and liability for all personal injury, accident and/or damage they may cause during the course of BAYLAN events. Participants understand that the BAYLAN staff accepts no liability or responsibility for personal injury, accident or damage resulting to any participants or to their equipment during BAYLAN events.

- BAYLAN Participants are not to compromise the security, stability or performance of any system at BAYLAN. Any participant who is judged by a BAYLAN Staff member to be compromising any computer on the network will forfeit their entry fee and be escorted from the premises.

- Speakers must be accompanied by headphones. Headphones with microphone can be purchased at BAYLAN.

- Each participant may bring as many computers with them for use as they wish. An example of this would be Matt who has both a gaming machine and a server which is also used for DVD burning.

- Cheating at BAYLAN is prohibited. "Cheating" is to be defined solely by BAYLAN staff. Cheating during a tournament will disqualify yourself and your team.

- The BAYLAN Staff reserve the right to deny entry to any person, for any reason. BAYLAN Staff also reserve the right to remove any participant judged by the staff to be compromising the event in any way from the premises.

- BAYLAN reserves the right to change or amend these rules at any time without prior notice.
